To establish a pilot program to deter, detect, and prevent child trafficking.

Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary,
pursuant to section 235(a)(4) of the William Wilberforce
Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of
2008 (8 U.S.C. 1232(a)(4)), shall establish and begin im-
plementing a pilot program to utilize the services of inde-
pendent child welfare professionals with expertise in cul-
turally competent, trauma-centered, and developmentally
appropriate interviewing skills to assist U.S. Customs and
Border Protection in the screening of children attempting
to enter the United States
